What is Vistafolio?
Vistafolio is an online gallery to showcase your photos of the natural wonders of Planet Earth, and, of course, for others to view and comment on such photos. The best way to learn about Vistafolio is to explore the site and maybe even upload some photos.

What is an Artist?
An Artist is a registered user who has created at least one Portfolio and uploaded one or more photos to the Portfolio.

What is a Visitor?
A Visitor is a registered user who can view and comment on an Artist's photos. Visitors can also "save" photos to a Gallery they create.

What are the rules for using Vistafolio?
We do have rules; it is a good idea to refer to our Terms of Service. There are some, however, that are worth mentioning here:
1. Respect the proprietary quality of other's photos. That means do not upload photos you did not take.
2. Appreciate that Vistafolio is for landscape photos of the natural world around us. That includes flora and fauna. There are plenty of photo sites where you can upload picture of smiling faces and happy pets, but Vistafolio is not one of them. If you upload photos that we believe do not meet our community guidelines, they will be deleted.
3. This also applies to anything considered inappropriate, whether in the form of uploaded photos or any text added to the site. Any photograph or text considered by us to be obscene, offensive or disrespectful will be deleted.
4. No SPAM allowed. That includes any kind of promotion of other sites or businesses in addition to repeated requests to people you don’t know to visit your Vistafolio Portfolio.
5. Don’t abuse our rules and guidelines. The limits of Vistafolio are there for a reason. By attempting to circumvent these rules, you’re just making it more difficult for Vistafolio to continue to offer free accounts.
6. If you come across someone who is violating these guidelines, please inform us at help@vistafolio.com.
7. Last but certainly not least, if you insist on breaking our rules, your account will be deleted.

Will Vistafolio always be free?
Yes, there will always be a free version of Vistafolio. Like everything else, you get more when you pay more. We will soon be launching a paid subscription account.

If I like a photo on Vistafolio, how can I get a copy of it?
Our role is limited to showcasing the work of registered Artists. Should you wish to obtain a copy of a photo on Vistafolio, please contact the Artist directly. Keep in mind that only registered users of Vistafolio can send messages to one another.

Can I buy prints of any photos?
Sorry – this feature is not yet available. However, it's on our to-do list.

Do you share my personal info?
No. Vistafolio does not share or sell your personal information to anyone.
